Who We Are

We are Mitrex, a purpose-based developer and manufacturer of integrated solar technology. Currently, our focus has been to transform the building industry by developing Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), which allows any building to be transformed into a green micro power plant.

Why We Do It

Mitrex is inspired by nature. Consider how perfectly nature is designed; just like trees use the power of the sun to create useful energy, we apply this wisdom to our integrated solar solutions to change the way the world generates energy.

What We Do

We develop, produce, and install solar integrated products to displace traditional construction materials that are doing nothing to reverse climate change. In essence, we are revolutionizing the construction industry by integrating energy generation into otherwise unused surfaces. At Mitrex, we aim to offer solar as a service, with our ultimate goal being to become the world’s largest microgrid.

How We Do It

At Mitrex, we believe integration is essential. Our solar products can be integrated into any structure, allowing energy to be generated on every surface touched by the sun. Integration means that our solutions are competitively priced, multi-functional, and easy to adopt.

How We Hire

1. Apply Online

Go to the Career Page and find the posting that aligns with your interests and experience. Follow the directions on how to apply, and make sure to include your resume, active email, and phone number.

2. Video Interview

We believe that everyone is unique and has their own area of expertise. We would like to understand more about you than what is written in your resume. Shortlisted applicants will get the opportunity to introduce themselves by answering the questions in video format. As this is a recorded video, you can answer the questions at your convenience. Your video is treated with full confidentiality and will only be used strictly for hiring purposes. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, please allow approximately 1 month for your videos to be reviewed.

3. In Person Interview

After reviewing your resume and video application, we will notify the candidates that we believe might be a good fit for us by scheduling an interview. The interviews are usually held in person with the hiring manager and/or the recruitment team. Please note that we have Covid-19 protocols in place at our office to accommodate in-person interviews.

4. Offer

If you are selected for the role, you will receive a call from one of our recruitment team members with a verbal offer. Upon acceptance of a mutually convenient start date, and a review and acceptance of the written offer by email, we will prepare you for your starting day!

If you haven’t heard back from us in two months about your application, we have most likely moved forward with another candidate.

Can I still apply if the role has been filled?
We will keep your application on file and may still reach out to you about other roles that may become available if they align with your skills, interests, and experience. We may have filled the position for the current month, but we could still be looking to hire for the next month!

Should I apply for more than one role?
