Our history

2003

Establishment of Global Canadian Advanced Technologies (GCAT) Group
GCAT Group, our parent company with a focus on sustainable construction material.

2008

Establishment of Artisana
Artisana, our sister company, manufactures sustainable natural cladding used in residential applications.

2011

Establishment of Stone Lamina
Stone Lamina, our sister company, created a lightweight architectural cladding system with a focus on high-rise applications.

2014

Establishment of Cladify
Cladify, our sister company, integrated other hard surface materials with a composite cladding system, scaling the Stone Lamina vision.some text inside of a div block.

Establishment of Mitrex Inc.
After several years of R&D, Mitrex transforms traditional building material by introducing building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV).

Launch of Solar Facade
Mitrex launches its first-ever solar integrated product—Solar Facade.

Mitrex and Cladify are seeking an experienced architectural professional with expertise in Revit to lead our design team and spearhead the transition from AutoCAD to Revit. In this role, you will optimize and streamline our design implementation processes, restructuring workflows, reducing margins of error, and establishing efficient feedback loops. Your efforts will accelerate our design phase, enabling us to produce high-quality designs faster for our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current design processes and identify areas for improvement using Revit software
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize design workflows, minimize errors, and enhance feedback loops
  • Create and maintain Revit templates, families, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Provide training and support to design teams on the effective use of Revit software
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design automation tools
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Revit software and identify opportunities for further optimization
  • Continuously monitor and improve design automation processes to maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with their vision, meet project budgets, and uphold the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor will be highly advantageous, as it will enhance your expertise in our design automation processes.

Senior Designer Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cladding exterior projects from panel layout to installation, ensuring strict adherence to design criteria, project timelines, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Conduct on-site visits and assessments to gather information, evaluate existing structures, and propose design recommendations.
