Mitrex and Cladify are seeking an experienced architectural professional with expertise in Revit to lead our design team and spearhead the transition from AutoCAD to Revit. In this role, you will optimize and streamline our design implementation processes, restructuring workflows, reducing margins of error, and establishing efficient feedback loops. Your efforts will accelerate our design phase, enabling us to produce high-quality designs faster for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current design processes and identify areas for improvement using Revit software
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize design workflows, minimize errors, and enhance feedback loops
• Create and maintain Revit templates, families, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Provide training and support to design teams on the effective use of Revit software
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design automation tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Revit software and identify opportunities for further optimization
• Continuously monitor and improve design automation processes to maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design using Revit software
• Proficient in creating and managing Revit families, templates, and standards
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows and best practices
• Certification in Autodesk Revit software is preferred

Mitrex and Cladify are seeking an experienced Autodesk Inventor user with a strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing to be a driving force in ensuring 3D transition is streamlined from design, bill of materials, and product fabrication. This role will also lead to training and coaching of the production release team on utilizing new software and processes for deliverables. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture,  Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience using Autodesk Inventor software.
• Certification in Autodesk Inventor software is preferred.
• Proficient in creating and managingInventor parts, assemblies, drawings, and cladding components.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM workflows and best practices.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and construction methods.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Resourceful, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to map existing workflows and recommend technology solutions to support or improve them.
• Exposure to virtual construction software and tools.
• Knowledge of product assembly and fabrication.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and problem-solving abilities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Designer to lead our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide visionary leadership to the design team, overseeing a variety of cladding exterior projects. You will spearhead the design process for envelope solutions utilizing Cladify & Mitrex products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of projects that align with our clients' needs and architectural vision. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with their vision, meet project budgets, and uphold the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor will be highly advantageous, as it will enhance your expertise in our design automation processes.

Senior Designer Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cladding exterior projects from panel layout to installation, ensuring strict adherence to design criteria, project timelines, and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Conduct on-site visits and assessments to gather information, evaluate existing structures, and propose design recommendations.
• Create detailed shop drawings, panel layouts, connection details, bills of materials, installation manuals, production orders, cut sheets, and assembly drawings using industry-standard software and tools.
• Leverage proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to automate design processes, enhancing team efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into tangible projects using Cladify and Mitrex products and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to design team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Stay updated on the latest architectural and sustainable design trends, materials, and technologies, incorporating them into design proposals.
• Participate in product development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope design, with a focus on sustainable and energy-efficient building envelope solutions, claddings, and prefabricated wall panel systems.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software is highly advantageous, as it will facilitate the automation of our design processes and enhance team efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, rainscreen principles, and precast panel principles.
• Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects, from shop drawings to installation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project management and production teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for sustainable architecture and prefabrication.
• Familiarity with the production process of fabrication drawings, cut sheets, assembly drawings, and installation manuals.
• Familiarity with national building codes.
