Electrical safety is more than a box to check—it’s foundational to our technology. That’s why our products undergo a comprehensive range of tests designed to validate their safety, durability, and performance under real-world conditions.
To prevent electrical failures and ensure operational integrity, our modules undergo high-potential (HiPot) testing at voltages of up to 6000V. This goes beyond standard operating voltages, simulating extreme conditions to confirm the strength and durability of our insulation. This level of testing ensures that each Mitrex module is prepared to handle unexpected electrical surges without compromising safety.
Mitrex modules are tested under thermal cycling from -40°C to 85°C, pushing them through rapid temperature shifts to ensure resilience against environmental stresses. This test simulates the lifespan of our modules in various climates, guaranteeing stable performance in both heatwaves and freezing conditions. Our humidity freeze tests further confirm that our modules resist moisture, preventing damage that could lead to electrical faults over time.

Safety isn’t complete without robust fire resistance. Our modules pass stringent tests like NFPA 285,EN13501-1 and UL S134 which evaluate their performance in high-heat situations. These tests confirm that Mitrex modules resist ignition and contain no materials that could fuel a fire, adding an extra layer of security to buildings equipped with our solar facades.
Real-world durability means withstanding physical stress, from debris impacts to high winds. Mitrex modules are tested with simulated hail impacts and static load tests, verifying that they maintain structural integrity under extreme mechanical stress.
