Phase 1 - Design: Turning Ideas into Plans (2-4 Weeks)

Every project starts with collaboration. We work closely with clients to finalize designs, including layout, colors, textures, and shapes. This phase also includes:

• Sample approvals to ensure design alignment.
• Project design planning, incorporating layouts, shop drawings, and (if applicable) electrical designs.

This phase lays the foundation for success, ensuring that every detail aligns with the client’s vision.

Phase 2 - Engineering and Procurement: Preparing the Materials (2 Months)

Once the design is approved, the engineering team prepares a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM). This includes all components necessary for:

• Material fabrication.
• Electrical integration for Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems.

By the end of this phase, everything required for the project is procured and ready for assembly.

Phase 3 - Fabrication: Bringing the Vision to Life (3 Months)

During this phase, the panels are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facilities. Every piece is crafted to precise specifications, ensuring durability and performance. Key activities include:

• Assembling materials according to the approved layout.
• Packaging the panels for secure transportation to the site.

Phase 4 - Logistics and Site Preparation: Setting the Stage (2-4 Weeks)

Before installation begins, a pre-mobilization meeting ensures that everything is in place. This step covers:

• Panel mobilization plans for efficient handling.
• Site storage arrangements and preliminary wall preparation, such as installing L-bars, brackets, or insulation.

Phase 5 - Installation: The Core of the Journey (1-9 Months, Depending on Project Size)

Installation is carried out by skilled teams using Mitrex’s efficient systems:

• Cladishield System: 250 square feet/day/crew for low-rise and mid-rise buildings; 200 square feet/day/crew for high-rise projects.
• Cladifab/Claditized System: Up to 500 square feet/day/crew for high-rise buildings.

During this phase:

• Panels are secured to the structure.
• For BIPV projects, electrical wiring and DC connections are established.

Phase 6 - Electrical Integration and Testing: Energizing the Project (2 Weeks)

For BIPV systems, the integration phase ensures seamless energy generation. This includes:

• Connecting panels to inverters and setting up monitoring systems.
• Performing Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) inspections to ensure code compliance.

Phase 7 - Commissioning: A Sustainable Future Begins

The final step is commissioning. Local hydro providers ensure the system is ready to operate. Once complete, the building officially transitions to an energy-efficient powerhouse. From this point forward, the facade not only beautifies the structure but also contributes to energy generation and sustainability goals.
